George S. Hassler, Owner & Director NJ Lic. No. 3193 George was born in Bridgeton, NJ. He served in the US Air Force, stationed at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. After attending Ocean County College, he received his Diploma in Funeral Service from The American Academy McAllister Institute, Inc., NYC, NY, in 1975. He was licensed by the NJ State Board of Mortuary Science in1975 as a Practitioner of Mortuary Science. He is a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 6201, Jackson Township Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Jackson Rotary where he is a Paul Harris Fellow, the National Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, the Monmouth-Ocean County Funeral Directors Association. In addition, he is a Parishioner and serves as a Trustee of St. Aloysius RC Church, Jackson. George resides in Jackson with his wife Arlene. |
Brian T. Hassler, Manager NJ Lic. No. 4054 Brian, the son of George and Arlene, was born in Lakewood, NJ. He is a 1987 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Monmouth College, Long Branch, NJ, in 1991. After completing the Funeral Service Program at Mercer County Community College in 1992, he was awarded a Diploma in Funeral Service Science and Arts. He was awarded his license as Practitioner of Mortuary Science by the NJ State Board of Mortuary Science in 1993. That same year he joined the family business, thus creating the second generation of the George S. Hassler Funeral Home. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association where he also is a member of the Board of Directors, and the Monmouth-Ocean County Funeral Directors Association where he is also the Past Sgt. of Arms, Past Secretary, Past Treasurer, Past Vice-President, and current President for the 2014-2016 term. He is a parishioner of St. Aloysius RC Church, Jackson. Brian and his wife Michelle are raising their 2 daughters in Jackson. |
