QM1 bus rides

I found out about the passing of Denise about a year ago from my sister who works for the Fresh Meadows apartments. I use to take the bus home with Denise a few times a week from 3rd avenue and 43rd Street. We sat all the way in the back and talked all the way till I got off at Union Turnpike and Chevy Chase. Many times it was easily over an hour due to all the traffic. We talked work, politics, but mostly about family. She spoke about her brilliant grandson from NJ who she spoiled endlessly. Often telling me about plans with her daughter from NJ and getting her nails done. She was such a sharp dresser and always had on beautiful jewelry which she said was one of her best things to buy. She loved eating out and truly enjoyed life. I stopped seeing her when she moved to a different work location but found out of her passing about a year after. I just want you to know that she talked about all of you so much and how she was such a proud mom/grandma. She spoke about her son in Vegas and his wife. I felt like I knew the whole family! Her laugh was contagious and boy did we laugh on that bus, so much so that I almost missed my stop a few times. Just want you all to know that I am truly sorry for your loss and that Denise was one of the nicest, funniest, people I have ever met.
