Obituary for Gloria Jean Dimech (Del Rosso)
GLORIA JEAN DIMECH, 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born in Queens, NY, and resided in Cliffwood, NJ, prior to relocating to Jackson Twp. 47 years ago.
Gloria was a Floral Designer for Especially For You Florist, Freehold.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., where she started the Children’s Choir, was the organist for 30 years, and sang in the adult choir.
Gloria was predeceased by her Parents, Edward and Mary Del Rosso. She is survived by her Husband of 56 years, David L. Dimech; her Son, John D. Dimech and his Wife, Patricia of Whiting; her Daughters, Martha Lanko of Jackson Twp., Mary Todaro and her Husband, Joe of Toms River, and Jeani Dimech-Juchniewicz and her Husband, John of Jackson Twp.; her Brothers, Dominick Del Rosso of Matawan, Edward Del Rosso and his Wife, Eilene of Matawan, and Robert Del Rosso; her Sisters, Pauline Redmond and her Husband, Walter of New Brunswick, and Rose Bering of Spokane, WA; and by her Grandchildren, Chloe Page, Gregory Lanko, Anthony, Giavanna, and Christopher Todaro, and John, Joseph, and Lucianna Juchniewicz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Please meet at church at 9:15 AM. Entombment will follow in St., Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr. Lakewood, NJ 08701. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gloria’s memory to St Vincent de Paul Society at St Aloysius RC Church, PO Box 1285, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527 and would be greatly appreciated.
