JUDITH FURLONG, age 74, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided there until moving to Jackson 50 years ago.
Judith was a homemaker, a volunteer at the Johnson School in Jackson, and a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson.
She was predeceased by her Parents, Herbert and Joan Nelson. She is survived by her Husband of 58 years, James Furlong; her 4 Sons, James Furlong and his Wife, Brenda of Jacksonville, FL, William Furlong and his Wife, Anne of Haddon Heights, NJ, Michael Furlong and his Wife, Miriam of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Robert Furlong and his Wife, Theresa of Howell Twp., NJ;; her Brother, Ronald Nelson and his Wife, Sharon of Staten Island, NY; her Sisters, Janet Manna and Joan Lynch and her Husband, Drew, all of Brooklyn, NY; and by her 7 Grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Daniel, Alex, Jonathan, Adam, and Daniel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Monday, September 11, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. A private cremation will follow.
