Obituary for Paul Thomson
PAUL THOMSON, 74, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Fountain View Care Center, Lakewood, NJ. He was born in Neptune, NJ, and resided in Freehold, NJ, before moving to Lakewood 40 years ago.
Paul was employed in maintenance at Ametek Glasseal Products in Lakewood for 15 years, retiring in 2015. Prior to that, he worked at Sunshine Biscuit, Sayreville, NJ, as a lead electrician for 30 years.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Walter and Alvine Thomson. He is survived by his Wife of 49 years, Lynn Thomson; his Daughters, Janet Thomson of Lakewood, NJ, Jennifer Kling of Lakewood, NJ, and June McManus of Manchester, NJ; and by his Grandchildren, Jessica Kling and Joseph Kling.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Friday, May 5, 2017, from 4-8 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Memorial Contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to Popcorn Park Zoo, PO box 43, Forked River, NJ 08731.
