Julio  Guzman
JULIO GUZMAN, 90, of Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away on April 2, 2017, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Julio was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and resided in the Bronx, New York, prior to settling in Manchester Twp. in 2007.
Julio was a Carpenter for B Altman’s and Company, New York City, NY, for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1989.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving as a PFC during the Korean War.
Julio was predeceased by his Parents, Roman and Maria Guzman; and by his Wife of 60 years, Anna D. Guzman. He is survived by his Son, Julio Guzman and his Wife, Lisa of Mount Dora, FL; his Daughters, Sandra Colon and her Husband, Luis of Jackson Twp., NJ, Delia Shannon and her Husband, Robert of Rochester, NY, and Janet Meier and her Husband, Walter of West Milford, NJ; his Sisters, Pura Ardin of Bronx, NY, and Carmen Luz Arcelona of San Francisco, CA; his Grandchildren, Amanda Purnell, Gabriel Colon, David Colon, Allysa Guzman, Sarah Colon, Victoria Meier, Alexander Guzman, and Tyler Meier; and by his 2 Great grandchildren, Joshua Purnell and Cameron Colon.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Brig. Gen. William C.
