Obituary for Joan Cicconi (Wear)
JOAN CICCONI, age 83, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson Twp. Joan was born in Elizabeth, NJ, moving to Jackson Twp. many years ago. Most recently, she resided at Sunrise Assisted Living in Jackson Twp. since 2014 where she was cared for and loved by many.
Joan, along with her late husband, Al Cicconi, Sr., founded Cicconi Farms in Jackson Twp. over 50 years ago. Prior to that, she worked for the Merck Corporation.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Susan Wear and by her husband, Albert Cicconi, Sr. in 2005. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Sharon Cicconi of Jackson Twp., NJ; her grandchildren, Courtney Cicconi and Collin Cicconi; and by her great grandchild, Niko Cicconi.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 3-7 PM at The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ.A funeral gathering will be offered on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood Twp., NJ.
