Obituary for Bruce Harkay
BRUCE HARKAY, 73, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at home. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and resided in Freehold, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 4 years ago.
Bruce was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves.
Prior to his retirement, Bruce was employed as a Store Manager for Samsonite, Tinton Falls, NJ. Prior to that, he was a garment buyer for many years.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Harkay. He is survived by his partner of 30 years, Ralph Kyemstedt; his brother, Brian Harkay and his wife, Patti; his sister, Melissa McFadzean and her husband, Daniel; and by his nieces and nephews, Derrick McFadzean, Nicole Heise, Sarah Harkay, and Jeff Harkay.
Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family and under the care of the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Twp., NJ.
