WILLIAM HOWARD ROBERTS, 88, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Sunrise at Jackson, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in Staten Island, NY, and resided in Matawan, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 3 years ago.
William was a United States Veteran proudly serving in the Army.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a “jack of all trades” for the Pine Brook Golf Course, Manalapan, NJ.
William was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Anna Roberts; and by his wife, Leslie Roberts in 2015. He is survived by his stepdaughters, Cheryl VanBavel and her husband, John of Jackson Twp., and Nanette Babinetz and her husband, John of Linden, NJ; his 5 grandchildren; his 11 great grandchildren; his nephews, Michael Vlassenko of Staten Island, NY, and Nicholas Vlassenko of Staten Island, NY; his great niece, Lauren Thomasen of Staten Island, NY; and by his 1 great-great nephew.
