Obituary for William Eric Nordstrom
WILLIAM E. NORDSTROM, 78, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born on Staten Island, NY, and resided in Brick Twp., NJ, prior to retiring to Westlake Golf & Country Club, Jackson Twp.
Bill was employed as the Director of Administrative Services, Corporate Headquarters for Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, NJ. Bill was an integral part of the team that opened the corporate headquarters complex in 1982. He was responsible for designing and implementing all administrative support services. Bill was recognized for staffing many positions with handicapped men and women, thereby providing them with meaningful employment.
In his retirement, Bill enjoyed being a part of the Westlake community. He was the president of the Bocce Club and a supporter to Westlake Animal Group (WAGs).
William was predeceased by his parents, Eric and Ruth Nordstrom; and by his loving wife, Bobbi Nordstrom in 2017. He is survived by his daughters, Kelli L. Tesoroni and her husband, Brian, and granddaughter, Cosette of Haledon, NJ, Amy L. Gabbard and her husband, Thomas of Hamilton, OH; and by his son, William E. Nordstrom, Jr. and his wife, Nikki and 3 grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM, on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in William’s memory to WAGs (Westlake Animal Group), 1 Pine Lakes Circle, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527, and would be greatly appreciated.
