Obituary for Joseph L. Paone, Sr.
JOSEPH L. PAONE, SR., 81, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and has resided in Jackson Twp. for 16 years.
Joseph served in the United States Army National Guard.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a private investigator for Amsource Investigations, Old Bridge, NJ. Prior he was an entrepreneur and business owner. He also served as a Police Officer and Firefighter for the city of Perth Amboy.
Joseph was a communicant of The Church of St. Monica, Jackson Twp. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Middletown Chapter.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Katherine Paone; and by his beloved wife, Veronica “Ronnie” Paone. Joseph is survived by his sons, Joseph and his wife, Fran, and Anthony and his wife, Diana; his daughter, Gina and her husband, Nick; his grandson, Owen; his brother, Louis and his wife, Rosemary; his sister, Kathy and her partner, Mark; and by his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that adored him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9 AM on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Liturgy at 10 AM at the Church of St. Monica, 679 W. Veterans Highway, Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
