Obituary for Alicja Szymczuk (Szymkowscy)
ALICJA SZYMCZUK, 60, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. She was born in Lapy, Poland and has resided in Jackson Twp., for 8 years.
She was employed by Georgian Court University, Lakewood Twp., NJ for 10 years.
Alicja was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood Twp.
She was predeceased by her parents, Zygmunt and Eugenia Szymkowscy. Alicja is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wieslaw Szymczuk; her daughter, Sylwia Szymczuk of Jackson Twp.; her son, Dan Szymczuk of Jersey City, NJ; her grandson, Ronell Bass, Jr.; and by her sisters, Krystyna Zdrodowska, Ewa Budniak and her husband, Krzysztof, and Dorta Sienkiewicz all of Poland.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 3-7 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, (Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe) 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood Twp., NJ 08701. Please gather at 10:15 AM at the church. A private cremation will follow.
