Obituary for Cynthia T. Balk
CYNTHIA T. BALK, 68, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided there until settling in Toms River 35 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, Cynthia was employed with Kmart, working at their corporate office in New Jersey.
Cynthia was predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Eva Balk; her brothers, Kerry Balk and Eric Balk. She is survived by her sisters, Carol Goldsworthy and her husband, George, and Evelyn Schmidt; and by her brothers, Anthony Balk and his wife, Lynne, and Cornelius Balk and his wife, Lynn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-5 PM with her Funeral Service at 4:15 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow.
