Obituary for Julia Marie Gillis
JULIA MARIE GILLIS, 85, of Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was born in Nutley, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Manchester Twp., 20 years ago.
Julia was employed as an administrative assistant at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., for 20 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Sisters of Mercy.
Julia enjoyed going to the beach and boardwalk where she would enjoy pizza and an adult beverage, art, plays, and spending time with her family and friends. She always cared for others and would always lend an ear to listen to anyone who needed to talk. Julia was dedicated to her faith and her family, and the apple of her eye was her only grandchild, Jordan Christopher Gillis who is currently a senior at West Virginia University.
Julia was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Gillis in 1999; and by her son, Steven Gillis in 1983. She is survived by her son, Christopher Vincent Gillis and by her many family, friends, and relatives.
