Obituary for Alex S. Szekely
ALEX S. SZEKELY, 78, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, Lakewood Twp., NJ. He was born in Kolozsvar, Romania, and resided in Jackson Twp., for 24 years.
Prior to his retirement, Alex was employed as a Design Engineer with Plastek Industries, Erie, PA, and later established Transylvania Design and Consulting, LLC, Jackson Twp., NJ with his grandson Alex.
Alex was predeceased by his parents, Sandor & Piroska Szekely; and by his in-laws, Constantin & Ibolya Soreanu; and his brother-in-law, Louis Pall. He is survived by his wife, Eva Szekely; his daughters, Ildiko Mollica and her husband, Frank, and Gabrielle Szekely & Hal Millemann; his 5 grandchildren, MaceyKelly and her husband, Ryan, Hope Kubinak, Noelle Kubinak, Frankie Mollica, and Alex Mollica; his sister, Gabriella Pall; and by his dear friends, George Pall and his wife, Helen.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 12-3:30 PM with his Funeral Service at 3:30 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow.
