Obituary for Kathleen Ann Purcell
KATHLEEN ANN PURCELL, 86, longtime resident of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was born June 19, 1936, and grew up in Albany, NY. Kathleen attended Vincentian Institute High School, and St. Rose College.
Kathy was a compassionate nurse for several decades. She was a loving mom who was always there for her kids. If we could dream it, she would help us do it. She encouraged us to take chances and have fun! Kathy cherished spending time with her family, especially summers at the Jersey Shore. She was sweet, kind and a generous spirit who was always smiling. All who knew her loved her, and she will be missed by her whole family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Purcell, caring sister to the late Robert Coyle (Joan-deceased), and Harry Coyle (Rose-deceased), devoted mother of Beth Pedersen (Jim), Sharon DeMuth (Rich), and Jay Purcell (Kim), and loving “Nanny” to 6 grandchildren, Kristen (Steve), Sara, Katie (Mesut), Gina, Ryan and Karissa, and 4 great-grandchildren, Grayson, Steven, Olivia, and Dominic.
