LEIGH THERESA (nee SANTILLO) GRANATA, 28, of Brick Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born in Freehold, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Brick Twp., 1 ½ years ago.
Leigh was employed as a special education teacher for the Alpha School, Jackson Twp. for 6 months.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Salvatore and Theresa Ruggieri, and her paternal grandparents, Salvatore and Dorothy Santillo. Leigh is survived by her husband, Nicholas Granata; her daughter, Madison Granata of Staten Island, NY; her parents Louis and Susan Santillo of Jackson Twp.; her brother, Austin Santillo of Jackson Twp; her first cousin, Sarah Ruggieri; and her uncle and aunt, Steve and Joy Santillo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Her funeral liturgy will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, East Pleasant Grove Road, Jackson Twp., NJ.
