ETHEL ZIMMERMAN, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at home. She was born in Irvington, NJ, and resided there until settling in Jackson Twp., 53 years ago.
Ethel was employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ, for 18 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Howell Twp., NJ.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Robert Zimmerman in 2009; and by her sister, Martha Simodis. She is survived by her daughters, Kathrine A. Lynch and her husband, John, and Laura M. Kerod and her husband, Kevin; her 3 grandchildren, Kevin K. Kerod, Kaitlyn A. Kerod, and Karly L. Kerod; and by her sisters, Marie Black, and Charlotte Seegers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 434 Aldrich Rd., Howell Twp., NJ. Her inurnment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services. Arrangements are under the care of the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ.
