STEVEN JAMES STITZ, 63, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at
Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Jacksonville, NC, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 18 years ago.
He was predeceased by his father, Emil Stitz. Steven is survived by his mother, Joan Stitz; his sons, Bryan Stitz of Jacksonville, NC, and Kyle Stitz of Jacksonville, NC; his daughter, Stephanie Alcala and her husband, Matthew of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Harper, Lukas, and Cameron; his sister, Linda Lacherza and her husband, James of Vernon, NJ; and by his nieces, Danielle Taves of Tampa, FL,.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 1-5 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow. The visitation will be live streamed on YouTube at Hassler Funeral Home. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed and face masks are required for all services.
