Obituary for George R. Bosley

GEORGE R. BOSLEY, JR., 74, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at home. He was born in Baltimore, MD, and resided in Aliquippa, PA, prior to settling in New Jersey approximately 50 years ago.
George was a United States Veteran, serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of E5 and earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle M-14).
He was employed as an Electronic Technician with Nokia, Murray Hill, NJ, for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2000. After his retirement, George worked an additional 5 years as an outside contractor with Nokia.
George was a member of the Jackson VFW post 4703, and the American Legion post 504.
He was predeceased by his parents, George R. Bosley, Sr., and Josephine Schuchman; and by his aunt and uncle, Betty L., and Ben Espey. George is survived by his wife, Linda S. Bosley; his sons, Richard Bosley and his wife, Stephanie, and Daniel Bosley; and by his 3 grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonathan, and Adelfa Bosley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 10 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, NJ 07735. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services.
