Obituary for Robert F. Ventolo
ROBERT F. VENTOLO, 70, of Tuckerton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at home. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in North Bergen, NJ, prior to settling in Tuckerton 25 years ago.
Robert was a United States Veteran, serving in the Army.
He was employed as a Facility Operation Agent with the Port Authority of NY and NJ, retiring in 2009.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, George, and Josephine Ventolo; his sister-in-law, Florence Postorino; and by his brother-in-law, Gary Haase. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda Postorino; his brothers, Gerard Ventola and his wife, Terry, Michael Ventolo and his wife, Laura, and John Ventolo and his wife, Ellen; his sisters, Mary Haase, and Melanie Cook and her husband Don; his brothers and sisters-in law, Paul and Marion Postorino, Elizabeth Pearsall and John Cafaldi, Eugene and Andrea Postorino, Gerard Postorino, and Michael and Eunice Postorino; and by his many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:15 AM on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will follow in St Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Rd., Freehold Twp., NJ. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Rt 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736 or at www.cancer.org and would be greatly appreciated.
