Obituary for Corinne Kerod (McConnell)
CORINNE KEROD, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at home. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., for 49 years.
Corrine was employed as an administrative assistant for Lakehurst Naval Station for 30 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Toast Masters, and Catholic Charities. She loved to help the poor.
Corrine was predeceased by her parents, Edward, and Catherine McConnell. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John W. Kerod; her sons, John Kerod, Jr. of Lakeworth, FL, Patrick E. Kerod of Rahway, NJ, and Kevin Kerod and his wife, Laura of Montgomery Twp., NJ; her daughters, Christine Clements of Lakeworth, FL, and Karen Addiego and her husband, James of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda Addiego, Andrew Addiego, Thomas Clements and his wife, Heidi, Kevin Kerod, Katelyn Kerod, and Karly Kerod; her great granddaughter, Nadia Clements; and by her brothers, Jackie McConnell and his wife, Sheila, and Edward McConnell and his wife, Pat.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 8-9 AM on Monday, March 8, 2021, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Her funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Twp., NJ 07731. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services.
