Obituary for Harold F. "Harry" Theobald
HAROLD F. ‘HARRY’ THEOBALD, 74, of Jackson Twp. passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick Twp. Harry was born in Greenville, Alabama, had resided in Jersey City, NJ before setting in Jackson Twp. 38 years ago.
Harry worked as a driver for Paul’s Trucking Company in Woodbridge Twp. for many years, before retiring.
Harry was a firefighter and life-member of The Jackson Twp. Vol. Fire Co. #1 (Station 55), serving over 37 years. In addition, he was a member of The Red Nights Motorcycle Club.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles George Theobald and Fannie Mae Theobald, his brothers, Paul and Robbie Theobald, his son, Sean Theobald; and by his daughter, Doreen Logan. Harry is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Colleen; his cherished grandchildren, Katie Logan and Sean Logan; his beloved sisters, Loretta Cronin and her husband, Joe and Carol Schnabel and her husband, John; his beloved brothers, Chuck Theobald and his wife, Ginny, Jimmy Theobald and Eddie Theobald and his wife, Lisa; and by his loyal son-in-law, Larry Logan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ and will be live streamed by visiting Hassler Funeral Home’s YouTube channel. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. and will be live streamed at www.staloysiusonline.org. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood Twp.
