Obituary for Irene Cohen (Stibman)
IRENE COHEN, 70, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and has resided in Jackson Twp., for several years.
Irene was a homemaker and a member of Mothers of Multiples, the Latin American Parents Association (LAPA), and the Handicap Commission. She was an avid photographer, enjoyed Zumba, and was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
Irene is survived by her husband, Martin Cohen; her sons, Jesse Cohen and his wife, AnnMarie, and Jaime Cohen and his wife, Michele; her daughter, Caryn Cohen; her 4 grandchildren, Kailyn, Gavin, Jesse, Jr., and Theodore; and by her sister, Jeanne Holden.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 1-5 PM on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services.
