JOHN H. KRAFT, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Preferred Care at Wall, Allenwood, NJ. He was born in Lyndhurst, NJ and has resided in Jackson Twp. for 58 years.
He was a United States Veteran proudly serving in the Army during the Korean War.
John was employed by Meticulous Landscaping, Inc., Waretown, NJ.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post #4703, and a former Knights of Columbus member, #6201.
John was predeceased by his parents, William and Anna Kraft; and by his brothers, William Kraft and Lawrence Kraft; and by his sisters, Marie Kraft, Jeanne Kerr, Anne Moorhead, and Rita Sparta. He is survived by Paul Kraft; his sons, Joseph Kraft of Jackson Twp., Michael Kraft of Manchester Twp., NJ, and Robert Kraft and his wife, Linda of Waretown, NJ; his daughters, Denise McCurdy of Manchester, NJ, Lisa Kraft of Whiting, NJ, Jeannine Kraft of Manchester, NJ, and Jacqueline Hinshelwood and her husband, James of Whiting, NJ; his 16 grandchildren; his 17 great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his son-in-law, Michael McCurdy; and his daughter-in-law, Debbie Kraft.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:00 AM, followed by his funeral service at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services.
