FRANCES M. MELE, 95, of Bayville., NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville, NJ. She was born in West New York, NJ, and resided in Howell Twp., NJ, and Jackson Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Bayville.
Prior to her retirement, Frances was employed in the bakery and as a cashier for Foodarama, Freehold, NJ.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp.
Frances was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Michelina Raimondi; and by her husband, Anthony Mele in 2011. She is survived by her sons, Michael Mele, Larry Mele and his wife, Annette, and Robert Mele and his wife, Judy; her 9 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and by her 1 great-great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Her Committal Chapel Service will follow at 11:30 AM in St Mary’s Cemetery, Mary Queen of Peace Mausoleum, 2351 Massachusetts Ave., Toms River, NJ. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed, and face masks are required for all services.
