Obituary for Angelo Torres
Angelo James Torres, 35, of Lakewood Twp., NJ passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 25, 2020. He was raised in Howell Twp., NJ, loved and cared for by Linda Engelmann. Angelo was a graduate of Howell High School, class of 2003.
Angelo aspired to own his own landscaping company and with the help of long time friends and confidants, Kyle Rizzo and Shawn Palermo (cousin) they founded The Rizzo Company, Wall Twp, NJ. Behind his struggles, there was an intelligent, charismatic, hilarious, loyal, and irreplaceable human being. He enjoyed spending time with his niece, Kaylee Acevedo, and tried to spend as much time with family and friends as he could.
Angelo was predeceased by his sister Caitlin Engelmann(Alexander). Angelo leaves behind a brother Michael Torres; a sister Laura Troche (Kaylee Acevedo); mother Linda Engelmann; sister Tara & her husband, Mike Peat(Michael, Tyler and Connor); his sister, Kelly & her fiance, Brian Masullo (Myth-Daniel, Benjamin and Khloe ); his brother, Donald & his wife, Amy(Mackenzie, Donald, Trevor & Casey-Lyn); and little Gregory Bostram; his sister, Suzette Engelmann(Mia); Andrea, Edmund, Marky Milos and many Cousins; and by his longtime girlfriend and best friend, Jennifer Valdez.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow. CDC attendance guidelines will be followed and face masks are required.
