RAYMOND MALYAR, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp., NJ. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and resided in Edison, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 2 years ago.
Raymond was a United States Veteran proudly serving in the Navy.
He was employed as a head operator for Standard Oil, Perth Amboy, NJ, prior to his retirement.
He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Ann Malyar; his son, Thomas Malyar; and by his brother, Michael Malyar. Raymond is survived by his sons, Mark Malyar and his wife, Kim of Jackson Twp., and Curt Malyar and his wife, Laurie of Jonesborough, TN; his 3 grandchildren; and by his sister-in-law, Carol Malyar.

I met Ray at the Chestnut Tavern in Edison New Jersey. He was such a nice and fun man. He will certainly be missed.
