LEONARD S. LAPETINA, 88, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there until moving to Jackson Twp., NJ, 14 years ago.
Leonard was a United States Veteran proudly serving in the Army.
He was employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Brooklyn, NY prior to his retirement 21 years ago.
Leonard was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was predeceased by his parents, Amedeo and Marie Lapetina. He is survived by his wife,
Angelina Lapetina; and by his daughter, Marie Lapetina and son-in-law, Salvatore Grasso; his
son, Leonard Lapetina and his significant other, Jeanette Calderon; his granddaughters, Jessica, Marissa, and Christina Grasso; his great-grandson, Michael Grasso O’Brien; and by his sister, Angela Morea.
Due to the CDC guidelines pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral arrangements are private and under the care of the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Leonard’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, www.stjude.org, and would be greatly appreciated.
