MARY ANNE CARIA, 84, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Twp., NJ. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and retired to Jackson Twp., 22 years ago.
She was employed as a school aide for the NYC Board of Education in Brooklyn, NY, for 20 years prior to her retirement.
Mary Anne loved being with her family, spending time at the beach, gardening, shopping, and taking care of her husband.
She was predeceased by her parents, George DeFelice and Grace and Michael Savarese. Mary Anne is survived by her loving husband, Vincent Caria. She was the loving mother to Angela Grace Malgeri and her husband, Stephen of Montville, NJ, and Michele Cino and her husband, Salvatore of Brooklyn, NY. She was the beloved grandmother of Stephanie and her husband, Michael, Samantha and fiance` Nicholas, Salvatore and Ariana, AnnMarie and Klev, and Michael.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial gathering from 12-2 PM, on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Her funeral service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home.
