Obituary for Carmela DeCristofaro (Rosato)

CARMELA DeCRISTOFARO, 96, of Freehold Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. She was born in New York City, NY. She lived in Edison, NJ and Uniondale, NY before moving to St. Petersburg, FL. She spent her last 20 years in Freehold Twp., and her last 2 years at the Havens in Toms River NJ.
Carmela was a communicant of Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Twp., NJ. She was a very vibrant and fun loving women her whole life. She was part of the Three Musketeers Bingo Girls, in the Villages of Howell. She loved any game that meant she was going to be around other people laughing and having fun. She was better known as smiling Millie to all her friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Silvio and Teresa Rosato; her husband, Anthony DeCristofaro in 1963; her brother Dominic Rosato; and by her sister and brother-in-law, Jessie and John Passanante. She is survived by her sons, Thomas DeCristofaro and his wife, Lynn of Manchester, NJ, and Anthony DeCristofaro and his wife, Phyllis of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Jana DeCristofaro and her partner Finn Clayton of Portland, OR, Daniel DeCristofaro and his wife, Joanna of Penfield, NY, Nicholas DeCristofaro and his wife, Melissa of Barnegat, NJ, Cara DeCristofaro and her wife, Shawne of Florence, NJ, She was blessed to also see all five of her Great Grandchildren too.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass at 10 AM on Saturday January 11, 2020, at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ.
