ALBERT RUSSO, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Staten Island, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 6 1/2 years ago.
Albert was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
He was employed for 35 years as a Computer Operator with Horn & Hardart, New York, NY, and later was employed for 15 years as a Personal Assistant with A.I.G., New York, NY.
Albert was a member of the Four Seasons Men’s Club, Italian American Club, Garden Club, and the Bocce Club.
He was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
Albert is survived by his wife, Francesca Russo of Jackson Twp., NJ; his son, Stephen Russo and his wife, Kristina of Garden City, NY; his daughter, Kim Roma and her husband, Kevin of Jackson Twp., NJ; his 5 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, and Danielle Roma, and Stephanie and Nicole Russo; and by his brothers, Arthur Russo and his wife, Josephine of Oceanside, NY, and Eugene Russo and his wife, Kathleen of Jackson Twp., NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ.
