Obituary for Angelo Marzigliano
ANGELO MARZIGLIANO, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Care One of Jackson, Jackson Twp. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Long Island, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 22 years ago.
Angelo was a United States Army Veteran, earning the rank of Private First Class.
He was employed for 20 years with American Can Company, Hillside, NJ, and later with Logan Bus Company, Ozone Park, NY, where he worked as a Bus Driver for 20 years prior to his retirement.
Angelo was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp.
He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Antoinette Marzigliano; his sisters, Mary Marzigliano, Margaret Marzigliano, and Ann Fuschetts; his sister-in-law, Theresa Mingelone; and by his wife of 34 years, Marie Marzigliano in 1998. Angelo is survived by his son, Anthony Marzigliano and his wife, Anne Marie of Jackson Twp.; his daughter, Annette Marzigliano of Old Bridge, NJ; his 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Amanda, and Austin; his brother, Michael Marzigliano and his wife, Maria of Jackson Heights, NY; his many nieces and nephews; and by his 4 godchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ 08701. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Angelo’s memory to Alzheimer’s New Jersey, 425 Eagle Rock Avenue, Suite 203, Roseland, NJ 07068 and would be greatly appreciated.
