LECH BAKOWSKI, 71, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at his home in Jackson, NJ, surrounded by family and friends.
Lech is survived by his mother, Janina; his brother, Henryk; and his sister, Grazyna. He is also survived by his sons, Adam Bakowski and his wife and their son, Bogdan Bakowski and his wife and their children, and Krzysztof Bakowski and his wife and their daughter; his daughter, Ewa Chrostowska and her husband and their children; and by his longtime companion, Teresa Wierciszewska and her family. He was preceded in death by his father, Kazimierz and his wife Barbara. He will also be dearly missed by his canine companion, Bary.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 5–8 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. A private cremation will follow.
