Obituary for Frances I. Krom

FRANCES I. KROM, 102, of Somerset, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019, at Regency Jewish Heritage Nursing Center, Somerset, NJ. She was born in Huddersfield, England, on October 15, 1917, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, for many years, prior to settling in Somerset.
Frances was employed for the majority of her working career as a reader for Burrell Press Clipping Bureau, Livingston, NJ.
Frances was a member of the Democratic Club, the Mobile Homeowners Association, and became the church organist, after learning to play later in her life.
She was a New York Yankee fan since the 1940’s when she discovered Joe DiMaggio.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Evelyn Heath; her husband, Lucas Krom in 1992, and by her Aunt Edie. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Krom of Somerset, NJ, and Valerie Schoenert and her husband, Pastor Richard of MN; her grandchildren, Tim Schoenert and his wife, Lieschen, Richard Schoenert and his wife, Julie, and Rachel Moen and her husband, Chris; and by her great grandchildren, Lily, Thomas, Zachary, Chase, Rebekah, Lucas, Seth, Brayden, and Rachel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 10-11 AM, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Jackson Baptist Church, 360 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment will be on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 11 AM in the shelter of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the GEORGE S.
