Obituary for Anthony J. Daluise
ANTHONY J. DALUISE, 85, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He was born, raised and lived on Staten Island, NY, before settling in Jackson Twp., in 2018.
Anthony was a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department for 17 years, retiring in 1976. He also worked as an EMT instructor and a builder. A proud veteran, he served his country in the United States Coast Guard, during the Korean War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Gennaro and Josephine Daluise; his brother, Michael Daluise; his wife, Ruth Lynn Daluise in 2005; and by his son, Jeffrey Daluise in 2009. He is survived by his children, Chris Daluise and his wife, Donna of Jackson Twp., Thomas Daluise and his wife, Cynthia of Jackson Twp., and Jennifer Frisone and her husband, Richard of Staten Island, NY; his 14 grandchildren; and by his brother, Salvatore Daluise and his wife, Nancy of Lincroft, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
