Obituary for Carol Sadowski (Jozwicki)

CAROL SADOWSKI, 77 of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at CareOne at Jackson, Jackson Twp. She was born in New York City, NY and resided in Astoria, Queens, prior to settling to Jackson Twp., 46 years ago.
Carol was employed as a LPN for Paul Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood for 28 years, and The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
She enjoyed reading, history, playing trivia games (which she always won), going on vacations (especially the reunions with Ron’s Navy crew, where she was able to see much of the mainland USA), and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite vacations were exploring Italy and Portugal after her retirement. On her 75th birthday, her family found out she graduated number 1 in her high school class of 1,100.
Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Sadowski Sr.; her son Ronald Sadowski Jr. of Jackson Twp.; her daughter, Gina Crane and her husband, Christopher of Millstone, NJ,; her 3 grandchildren, Alyssa Crane, Vincent Sadowski, and Ava Sadowski; her brother, Andrew Jozwicki and his wife, Gisela of Jackson Twp.; and by her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Her funeral liturgy will be offered at 9:30 AM on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 9:15 AM at the church. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562.
