Obituary for Lucy Vathianakis
LUCY VATHIANAKIS, 78, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at home. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in North Arlington, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 16 years ago.
Lucy was most recently employed as a CNA for Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., retiring in 2005. She was previously employed by North Arlington Board of Education as a custodian.
She was a communicant at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp.
Lucy was predeceased by her parents Michael and Michelina Pracilio her brother Nicholas Pracilio and her sister Ann Graziano. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Barone and her husband, Dean of Jackson Twp.; her grandsons, Nicolas M., and Vincent J. Barone of Jackson Twp.; and by her sister, Mary Calabrese of Slidell, LA.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation form 2-4 and 6-8 PM with her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
