Obituary for Jessie Loretta Martinsen
JESSIE LORETTA MARTINSEN, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in East Brunswick, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 22 years ago.
Jessie was employed as an Accounts Payable Clerk with Bristol Myers Squibb, Princeton, NJ, for 10 years prior to her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, John E. and Helen Langton; her brother, John Langton; her sister, Doris Lenczycki; and by her husband, Arthur William Martinsen, Jr. in 2013. Jessie is survived by her son, Robert Martinsen and his wife, Judy of Mount Laurel, NJ; her daughter, Carolyn Teese and her husband, George of Jackson Twp.; her grandchildren, John Martinsen, Nicholas Martinsen, Kristen Maguire and her husband, Joseph, George Teese, III and his wife, Nicole, Daniel Teese, Michael Laffan and his wife, Alexandra, Jennifer Cicilioni and her husband, Kyle, and Christopher Laffan; and by her great grandchildren, Connor Maguire, Kayla Maguire, and Declan Laffan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 7:30 AM on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 8:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562.
