Obituary for Franklin Daniel Chipchase

FRANKLIN DANIEL CHIPCHASE, 79, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, May 19, 2019. He was born in the Bronx, NY, and resided in Forked River, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 7 years ago.
Frank was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving in the Air National Guard and earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served for six years and was honorably discharged in 1963.
Until his passing, he worked as owner / operator of Machine Control Systems, Jackson Twp., NJ, a company he started in 1978. His company designed, built and installed production line bakery equipment all over the world.
While he loved his work, he loved his family more. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Chipchase; and by his wife, Elsa Chipchase in 2016. He is survived by his daughter, Debryn DePalma and her husband Daniel of Clarksburg, NJ; and by his 5 grandchildren, Chayse DePalma, Ava Brooke DePalma, Annie Chipchase, Brooke Chipchase, and Robert Chipchase.
When he wasn’t busy with work, Frank loved to read and travel with his wife Ellie and their friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-7:30 PM with Military Honors at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow.
