Obituary for Thomas Moskal
THOMAS MOSKAL, 73, of Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Manchester Twp., 16 years ago.
Thomas was employed with the Jackson Board of Education as a Paraprofessional for 16 years prior to his retirement in 2017. Prior to that, he was employed in the banking industry for 30 years.
He was a communicant of St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst, NJ.
Thomas was a member of the Renaissance Men’s Club, and the Knights of Columbus #6201.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Eleanor Moskal. Thomas is survived by his wife, Sandy Moskal of Manchester, NJ; his son, Thomas Moskal, Jr. of Manchester, NJ; his grandchildren, Davin Moskal, Cole Moskal, Thomas Moskal, III, Rylan Moskal, and Brayden Moskal; and by his brother, Laurence Moskal and his wife, Sandy of Estero, FL.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 3-7 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:15 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ 08701. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Thomas’s memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 and would be greatly appreciated.
