Obituary for Roseann Leotsakas (Salimeni)
ROSEANN LEOTSAKAS, 59, of Howell, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, had resided in Nutley, NJ before settling in Howell Twp. 23 years ago.
Roseann was the Manager of The Tea Shoppe for 6 years and was a communicant of The Church of St. Veronica, both in Howell Twp.
Roseann was predeceased by her parents, Vito and Giovannina “Jennie” Salimeni, her sister, Camille DellaTorri and by her father-in-law, Peter Leotsakas. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael; her daughters, Victoria Leotsakas and Gabriella Leotsakas both of Howell Twp.; her siblings and spouses, Anthony and Camila Salimeni of Middletown, DE, Richard DellaTorri of Staten Island, NY, Antoinette and David Basch of Staten Island, NY and Maria and Randy Jacobowitz of Staten Island, NY, and by her mother-in-law, Alma Leotsakas of Toms River, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 AM at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Rd., Tennent, NJ.
