Obituary for Doreen Donnelly (Hansel)
DOREEN DONNELLY, 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at home. She was born in Staten Island, NY, and resided there until settling in Jackson Twp., 32 years ago.
Doreen was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the Staten Island Development Center for 46 years prior to her retirement in 2005.
She was a member of the Jersey Devil Mounted Shooters.
Doreen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack Donnelly; her daughter, Cheri Donnelly; her granddaughter, Samantha; her grandson, Thomas; her brother, Robert Hansel; and by her sister, Sandra Borkawski.
Cremation was private and under the direction of the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A Celebration of the Life of Doreen J. Donnelly will be held from 5-8PM, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at MJ’s at the Buttonwood Manor, Greenhouse Room, 845 Rt. 34 North, Matawan, NJ 07747.
