Obituary for Alandra Lou Johnson
ALANDRA “LANNIE LOU” JOHNSON, 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood Twp., NJ. She was a life-long Lakewood Twp., and Jackson Twp., NJ, resident.
Alandra was a graduate of Lakewood High School, Class of 1959, and St Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Trenton, NJ, class of 1962. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1987 from the College of Nursing at Rutgers, the State University.
Alandra was employed as a Registered Nurse at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ, where she worked as a Charge Nurse in the maternity department for more than 40 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of the Ocean County Baptist Church, Toms River, NJ.
Alandra was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Grace Uda Johnson. She is survived by her son, Michael E. Slattery; her Daughter, Christine M. Slattery; her grandchildren, Robert L. Slattery, III, Elizabeth Slattery, Alandra Slattery, Hope Slattery, Joannah Slattery, Hannah Slattery, Allie Slattery, Victoria Slattery, Jerry Anderson, and Ryan Regan; and by her 2 great grandchildren, Maria Slattery, and Sterling Slattery.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 9-11 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM on Monday, March 4, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Church and Kent Roads, Howell Twp., NJ.
