Obituary for Virginia Ann Licata (Magnelli)

VIRGINIA ANN LICATA, 76, of Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp., NJ surrounded by her family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised her family in Jackson, NJ and has resided in Manchester for the past 15 years after she retired.
Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and most recently a great grandmother. She was also an associate of the Sisters of Mercy. She was employed as a bus driver with Laidlaw Transportation, Manalapan, NJ, for 15 years, prior to her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Margaret Magnelli; and by her husband, Richard Licata in 1991. Virginia is survived by her sons, Richard Licata and his wife, Debbie, Andrew Licata, and Vincent Licata and his wife, Nancy; her daughter, Peggy; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Joey, Megan, Tia, Cassidy and Gunnar; her great grandson, Bryson; and by her sister, Ruth Morelli.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 8:30-10:00 AM with her Funeral Service at 10 AM on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Drive, Lakewood Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s memory to Lake Delaware Boys’ Camp, c/o Jim and Sue Adams, Camp Directors, P.O.
