Obituary for Paul Gorbe
PAUL GORBE, 61, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, Lakewood Twp., NJ. He was born in Queens, NY, and resided in Jackson Twp. for the past 38 years.
Paul was employed as a Police Officer for the New Jersey Department of Human Services in Marlboro, NJ, and Trenton, NJ, retiring in June of 2004. He also owned and operated CLL, Howell Twp., NJ, for the past 32 years.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and handyman.
Paul was predeceased by his father Robert Gorbe; and by his daughter, Eileen Gorbe. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Gorbe; his daughters, Michele Schulte and her husband, Bradley of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Cheryl Edelson and her husband, Thomas of Ventura, CA; his mother, Pauline Gorbe of Jackson Twp.; and by his granddaughters, Brynley Edelson, and Emmie Schulte.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
