Obituary for Bruno Joseph Gangemi
BRUNO JOSEPH GANGEMI, 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at CareOne, Jackson, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., for the past 50 years.
Bruno was employed as the Head Custodian for the Jackson Board of Education for 18 years prior to his retirement in 2000.
Bruno was predeceased by his son, Rocco A. Gangemi in 2002. He is survived by his son, John Gangemi of Jackson Twp.; his 5 grandchildren, John Nice and his wife, Sarah of Land O’Lakes, FL, Stephanie Gangemi of Jackson Twp., Anthony Gangemi of Howell, NJ, Jessica Gangemi of Maine, and Joseph Gangemi of Jackson Twp.; his 2 great grandsons, Andrew Nice and Logan Dulock; his brother, Sebastian Gangemi and his wife, Rosalie of Jackson Twp; his sisters, Rosemary Kidd and her husband, Tommy of Whiting, NJ, and Carol Meyer and her husband, Bernie of Bayville, NJ; and by his former wife, Jeanette Gangemi of Toms River, NJ.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
