Obituary for Lionel "Lee" B. Froloff

LIONEL B. FROLOFF, 74, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at CareOne, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Kearney, NJ, prior to settling in Whiting over 15 years ago.
Lionel was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War and earning the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 campaign stars, the National Defense Service Medal, the Expert Rifle Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device. Thank you for your service.
Prior to Lionel’s retirement, he was employed as a Fireman with the Jersey City Fire Company.
Lionel was predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Martha Froloff; his brother, John Froloff; and by his sister, Gail Froloff. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lynch of Englishtown, NJ, Kerry Fink of Spotswood, NJ, and Trudi Swift of Monroe, NJ; his son, Lionel Froloff of Edison, NJ; his 9 grandchildren; his brothers, Orvell Froloff and his wife, Christine, and Bobby Froloff; and by his many nieces and nephews and loving family members.
Cremation was private. A Memorial Service with inurnment in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson, NJ, is in charge of all arrangements.
