Obituary for James Joseph Mackin
JAMES JOSEPH MACKIN, 61, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Millennium Memory Care, Holmdel, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Old Bridge, his whole life.
Prior to his retirement, James was employed as a Flow Regulator for Ashland, Parlin, NJ.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward F. and Carolyn R. Mackin; his brother, Edward F. Mackin; and by his sisters, Catherine M. Tiffany, and Elizabeth M. Mackin. James is survived by his sister, Carolyn R. Mongiello and her Husband, Joseph; his brother, Geoffrey Mackin and his wife, Agustina; and by his nieces and nephews, Erin M. Chamberlain, Matthew M. Mongiello, Sean Mackin, and Grace Tiffany.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-6 PM on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A private cremation will follow. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in James’s memory to the ALS Association of Philadelphia, 321 Norristown Rd., Suite 206, Ambler, PA 19002 and would be greatly appreciated.
