Obituary for James F.P. Green
James F.P. Green, 90, of Howell Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He was born in Hamilton, NJ, and resided in Farmingdale, NJ, prior to settling in Howell Twp., 70 years ago.
He was employed as a lineman for Bell Telephone/Verizon prior to his retirement in 1992.
James served in the United States Army Reserve and National Guard from 1956 to 1957.
He was a lifetime member of the Elks.
James was predeceased by his parents, Joseph C. and Sadie Green; and by his wife, Helen E. Green. He is survived by his grandchildren, Kimberly D’Ambrosio, who was also his caretaker, and her husband Darryl, Laura Forest, Tara Brossa and James Brossa; his 2 great grandchildren, Anthony and Brandon D’Ambrosio; his sisters, Dorothy Clapper and Lilian Chalk; and by his step daughter Jane Forrest.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with his funeral service at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
